The 4 Ton MRCOOL® VersaPro® Central Ducted Heat Pump Condenser offers a dependable and efficient solution for year-round heating and cooling. Designed with durability and modern technology, this unit provides consistent comfort in all seasons. With a variable-speed 48k capacity, the VersaPro® achieves a SEER2 rating of 16 and an HSPF4 rating of 8.5. Paired with the MRCOOL® VersaPro® Central Ducted Air Handler, it creates a complete and reliable system tailored to your home’s needs. The DC inverter technology ensures quiet operation and optimized energy use, making it an excellent upgrade from older, less efficient systems. You’ll also receive the MRCOOL® Smart thermostat, giving you complete control over your home’s temperature with ease.

The VersaPro® condenser utilizes R-454B refrigerant, a more environmentally friendly alternative to traditional refrigerants. Its durable painted galvanized steel construction is built to withstand the elements, while the compact side-discharge design makes installation easier in tight spaces. Maintenance is simplified with the built-in self-diagnostics system, which helps identify issues quickly and reduce service calls. Installation was straight forward and easily understood. Connecting to USB was not very clear but eventually got through it. There needs to be more options when connecting to LiFePO4 batteries on the menu when not using the communications cable.

Cool addition to the River!

The instructions were a little lacking, but we were able to watch a YouTube video that helped. Very sturdy. Did need to improvise a little on the rubber grommets so it did not knock against the glass. Does not hum or vibrate going down the road. Used two two-and-a-half Rotopax fuel containers.
