Bakcou Flatlander Electric Bike
Description
Sometimes that secret hunting spot sits at the end of a long cornfield, miles downstream at the bend in the river, or maybe in those hard to reach cattails on the distant horizon. If that’s the case, then the Flatlander fat tire electric bike is the bike for you!
We recognize that not every hunt begins at the top of the mountain. For this purpose Bakcou has taken all of the high-end components of the Mule and Storm, and engineered a hunting tool for those that hunt the flatter ground. And, therefore, all of this comes at a price point that won’t break the bank.
We combined the power and performance of Bafangs 750w, high-end, rear hub motor, with the same bullet proof aluminum alloy frame, and high- end components that you expect in a Bakcou fat-tire electric bike. As a result, Bakcou created the Flatlander.
As with each of our eBikes, it’s all in the details, so that’s why we use wide handlebars and locking handle grips. Then, we added wide stance, deep cleated pedals, with wide holes to grip your boots and avoid accumulation of mud or snow. As a result of the wide handlebars and wide stand pedals, our ebikes have a greater base of support.
Our color LCD display allows for ease of use when flying down the trail, and the unparalleled traction and control of our CST BFT (Big Fat-Tire) allow you to go where you want to go. From our top of the line air-suspension forks to our drivetrain components, we’ve got you covered.
We recommend the Flatlander Step-Through (ST) model for customers with a shorter inseam or those that have difficulty getting on and off of a step-over eBike. We recommend the ST model because the Flatlander ST is built like the Flatlander, with the exception of a lower top tube allowing for a shorter stand over height. Therefore, the lower top tube makes it easier to get on and off the bike on a Flatlander ST.

Before your first ride, please read the manual(s) provided with each Product. They contain important safety information and information about assembly, use, and maintenance. Bakcou requires registering your Bakcou eBike/eScooter within 45 days of receiving your eBike/eScooter. Registration is required to take advantage of this warranty. This will allow Bakcou to provide you with better service in the future. Product Registration
As explained in more detail below, Bakcou warrants the products for a limited time from the date of original retail purchase against defects in materials and workmanship when used normally in accordance with Bakcou’s published guidelines. The guidelines include, but are not limited to, information contained in technical specifications, user manuals and service communications. “Original retail purchase” means the Product was purchased new for the first time directly from Bakcou or from an authorized Bakcou Dealer. Registration is required for warranty claims.
Only the original owner of an eBike/eScooter purchased directly from Bakcou or an authorized Bakcou Dealer is covered by this Limited Warranty. The Warranty period begins upon receipt of the eBike/eScooter and shall terminate immediately at the end of the Warranty period. The Limited Warranty will not apply to any subsequent owner or other transferee of the eBike/eScooter.
This Limited Warranty is only applicable to eBike/eScooter purchases within the United States and Canada. Purchases outside the United States and Canada shall be subject to their respective warranty terms.
LIFETIME FRAME WARRANTY
Bakcou eBike/eScooter frames have a lifetime warranty against factory defects. Provided you register your eBike/eScooter with Bakcou within 45 days from the date of receipt, Bakcou will warrant the structural integrity of the frame to the original owner for as long as the original owner owns the product.
2 YEAR LIMITED MANUFACTURER WARRANTY
All Bakcou eBikes/eScooters and their individual covered components (as defined herein), are protected against all manufacturing defects in material or workmanship for two (2) years after original purchase by the original purchaser.
The Limited Warranty is expressly limited to the replacement of a defective motor, lithium ion battery, Roloff gear hub, suspension, forks, stem, handlebar, headset, seat post, bottom bracket, crank set, pedals, rims, wheel hub, freewheel, cassette, derailleur, shifter, throttle, controller, wiring harness, LCD display, and kickstand. This warranty does not cover the normal wear and tear of these components.
THIS LIMITED WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER:
Normal wear and tear.
Any damage or defects resulting from failure to follow instructions in the eBike owner’s manual, acts of God, accident, misuse, neglect, abuse, commercial use, alterations, modification, improper assembly, installation of parts or accessories not originally intended or compatible with the eBike/eScooter as sold, operator error, water damage, extreme riding, stunt riding.
Improper follow-up maintenance.
The Battery is not warranted from damage resulting from power surges, use of an improper charger, improper maintenance or other such misuse, normal wear or water damage.
For the avoidance of doubt, Bakcou will not be liable and/or responsible for any damage, failure or loss caused by any unauthorized service or use of unauthorized parts. Any modifications made to the bike by the customer will void the warranty.
Any products sold by Bakcou that are not an eBike/eScooter.
Determining whether damage or defect to an eBike/eScooter protected by this limited warranty shall be in the sole discretion of Bakcou.
Customer will be responsible for shipping costs associated with the replacement of any parts or components.
EXTENDED WARRANTY OPTIONS
Bakcou has partnered with Extend to offer supplemental extended warranty packages for an additional cost. Extended warranty packages allow for a one-time replacement on parts and components. Extended warranties start on the day the Bakcou Limited Warranty period ends.
Photos and/or videos of the damaged, covered component are required for Bakcou to replace any covered component under warranty.
Once you have the photos and/or videos contact the Bakcou Technical Support Team (warranty@bakcou.com) to make your claim. Please provide your information including your name, address, date of purchase and details regarding your claim.
The Bakcou Technical Support Team will work with you to determine the best course of action to fix and/or replace components covered under this warranty. If the Bakcou Technical Support Team determines that a covered component must be replaced, instructions will be provided for receiving the replacement and returning your damaged component.
Customer will be responsible for shipping costs associated with the replacement of any parts or components.
After the replacement of the covered component is received, the Backou Technical Support Team will assist you in replacing or installing the new covered component on your Bakcou eBike.
If a credit card chargeback of any amount is issued on an order, the Limited Warranty for that order will be paused until the chargeback has been resolved and order is paid in full.
Products should be inspected immediately upon delivery. Freight damage claims are extremely time-sensitive and will not be accepted more than 3 business days after delivery. Please note any damage to your products on the Bill of Lading before accepting delivery and signing off on the shipment. Take photos of any damage found and date the images when possible. Report freight damage claims within 3 business days of delivery to Bakcou, LLC at (844) 227-1096, or on Bakcou.com.

Purchased this for a 2022 Ford Ranger Tremor. Tent is mounted on a rack made for Tacomas that was fitted to the Ranger. I also purchased the annex room. I used this configuration as a "mobile lab", when I completed the testing phase of a master's thesis on nutrition and long distance hiking. The annex was large enough to fit hikers and their gear out of the weather, while I measured body comp, vitals and drew blood samples. The tent allowed me to park and stay anywhere; my fav is the parking lot of Crackle Barrel restaurants. I get dozens of compliments on this set up; but the best is from my wife who said the mattress was better than our home's mattress. Good going Tuff Stuff!!
I've been using the Harvest Right Freeze Dryer. I freeze dried full meals, fruits, and even coffee for long-term storage. Perfect for homesteading, with the ability to save money and reduce wastes
The instructions were a little lacking, but we were able to watch a YouTube video that helped. Very sturdy. Did need to improvise a little on the rubber grommets so it did not knock against the glass. Does not hum or vibrate going down the road. Used two two-and-a-half Rotopax fuel containers.
I was worried about space in my garage, but the EG4 Wallmount fits perfectly and looks clean on the wall. I'ts not bulky like other battery setups I've seen, and the power capacity is impressive for the size. Smooth installation with no complaints

I recently installed the EG4 GridBoss along with the EG4 18KPV inverter and EG4 wall-mounted batteries, and I’m very impressed with the entire setup. It’s amazing that this is a portable hot tub. It was easy to setup and looks like a permanent hot tub! It took about 2 days to heat to 104. We live in a place that snows so we added extra insulation to the panels and extra ground cover.
The jets are not super strong so I would have preferred getting the Tribeca which is less expensive and comes without jets. It does have bubbles.
But overall a great product, first of its kind I believe.
We pre ordered this sauna. It’s all put together with the help of a contractor. It took 2 guys 2 full days. We are very pleased with the sauna all together. It’s clearly top of the line. The sauna fits 2. Maybe 3 if you want to squeeze. The sauna fits well in our backyard. It adds a sense of tranquility to our favorite space. Off grid was extremely easy to work with. It was clear they put the customer first!
