With this Roll-Up Side Curtain Kit, naturally venting your greenhouse can be done with ease. This kit includes a roll-up side set up for each side of your hoop house. Venting your greenhouse not only cools the temperatures but also helps improve your plants' growth with fresh air uptake.
Included:
- 2 Greenhouse Roll-up Cranks - One for each side of the hoop house
- Spring Wire & Lock Channel for hip board
- 3/4" couplings connect each piece of 10' EMT conduit used to make the roll-up sidewalls. EMT is not included
- Snap clamps every 2' used to attach the plastic to the conduit
- Eye bolts for tie-down ropes
Paracord/spring for lacing/tying down of sidewalls not included.
This is designed for the DIY kit and not the All Metal Kit.
Our greenhouse hand crank can roll up sidewalls up to 150 feet long. It does so with the durable construction of stainless steel in a plastic resin casing designed to fight off long-term corrosion and wear. What’s more, its 4:1 gear ratio makes for easy cranking, and it's self-locking. The automatic brake will ensure that your sidewall will stay where you want it to.
With this hand crank, you’ll be able to control the temperature and humidity of your greenhouse. It also gives you side access to both your low and high tunnel hoop houses. It’s even easy to install; just follow these instructions for guidance on how to integrate this greenhouse curtain crank into the creation of your greenhouse.

GREENHOUSE COOLING AND HUMIDITY CONTROL
Controlling greenhouse humidity with some ventilation system is a must in just about any climate. Even in cooler climates, greenhouse temperatures can reach extreme levels. Your plants are more likely to die in a greenhouse from excessive heat than too cool temperatures.
PESTS AND DISEASE PREVENTION
Proper greenhouse air circulation is also critical for healthy plants. Rolling up your side curtains allows stale air to get pushed out of your greenhouse, leading to healthier plants with fewer disease and pest problems. Many common greenhouse pests and diseases thrive in the stale and humid air. Rolling up your sidewalls will allow air to circulate naturally, reducing incidences of these common problems.
BETTER POLLINATION
Growing in a greenhouse without natural air circulation can cause poor pollination of your plants. A breeze naturally sends pollen around your greenhouse so you can avoid the hassle of hand-pollinating every plant. If you notice poor pollination or fruit set, this is a sign that you may need to increase the airflow into your greenhouse.
KEEPING YOUR GREENHOUSE VENTILATED
During the hot summer months, it's critical to keep your greenhouse well-ventilated. To keep your plants cool during periods of high heat, we simply roll up our sidewalls and keep both end wall doors open. This allows air to naturally keep our greenhouse cool and our plants safe from excess heat.

Shipping Damage Claims are not Warranty Replacements.
If a product is damaged in shipping to you, reach out to us for a replacement within 7 days of receiving the package. We will need to file a shipping claim. Please send pictures of the box, inside the box, and the damaged product via email at contact@bootstrapfarmer.com, and we will send you replacements. The pictures are required for the shipping claim. We appreciate your help with this, as it is our priority to get a replacement sent to you as soon as possible.
When are my products not covered?
- Product damaged from misuse/left outside in the elements.
- Products that have been soiled or abused beyond a reasonable expectation
- Products lost or damaged through natural disasters, fire, or accidents

We have found ways to improve our product, like increasing the tray's flexibility while preserving the heavy-duty standard. This extra flexibility reduced the risk of corner chipping on the trays, making them even more indestructible! We were even able to redesign the tray's appearance by adding a thumb notch and thicker tray walls giving them added strength and durability.
We've also been able to speed up product development, improve quality control and reduce our carbon footprint by lowering shipping miles.
All USA Made 1020 trays, 1020 microgreen trays, 1020 Mesh Trays, 1010 Trays, air pruning trays, six-cell plug insert trays, and 2.5" seed starting pots have a 2-year warranty to be free from defects.
To ensure quality, we test our products at real working farms. If it doesn't break, it's ready for your farm. Then, the testing continues with you. Bootstrap Farmer relies on hardworking growers' expert feedback to continue to improve our products and offerings.
Of Note: The sun degrades all plastic. This warranty does not apply to trays left bare in the sun for extended periods. This warranty applies to and is warranted for cracks and degradation due to an inadequacy in manufacturing.
Color fading under light is normal and not covered under warranty. Some colors will fade more quickly than others. While all plastics are sensitive to natural sunlight degradation, all of our trays are made with a UV-resistant additive to help reduce and slow this effect.
How to Order Replacement Trays?
Our trays are made to hold up to commercial use. If they chip, crack or degrade in the first two years, we will send you a replacement. We want our customers to know they can rely on the quality of our products and that we want you to use the best. Email us at contact@bootstrapfarmer.com, and our friendly customer support team will ensure you get a new sturdy tray replacement. This warranty is complimentary for the first two years after your purchase.

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable or sanitary goods such as seeds, flowers or growing media cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that have been customized.

A: 1 Kit covers both sides of the hoop house.
Q: Will this work to roll up a 100’ tarp that is covering outdoor turf?
A: No, the DIY Greenhouse Roll-Up Side Curtain Kit is not designed to support that amount of weight.
